Rod Brock left a huge legacy of music. My daughter cut her teeth on it, and now my grandchildren are learning his songs. We call them “Uncle Rod Songs,” and I use lyrics from them in my books fairly often. He was a true genius. The recording attached is probably two decades old and recorded in his bathroom. We only made two professional recordings.
His music was prophetic. He sang about “red ties” and people wanting to tear the blue sky down long before the political upheavals of today.
Hexing Harlots: Between the Lines includes a few lines from Armageddon by Degrees. My favorite lines: Out here death and romance/cheek to cheek do a desperate dance…
Thank you.
